Kath Fidler

"If you have to ask what jazz is, you'll never know."
-- Louis Armstrong

Kath Fidler

Kath Fidler has been playing saxophone since the 6th grade, when her mother told her she was finally "big enough" to play sax like her modern day saxophone icon, Lisa Simpson. A northeastern native, she played through college at Syracuse University (Go Orange!) and with the Brooklyn Wind Symphony before moving down to warmer pastures in Atlanta in 2014.

She works managing people in advertising and marketing by day, but continues to pursue her passions of saxophone playing of all sorts with the ASO, Black Sheep Ensemble, Big Peach Band, and David Bowie band, Jerome Newton and the Band that Fell to Earth. In her spare time, she sleeps.
