A dynamic and versatile woodwind performer, Christi Brogden brings nearly three decades of musicianship and music education to the stage. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Music Education, she has over 29 years of teaching experience and has served as a clinician, coach, and private instructor for students and ensembles throughout Metro Atlanta.

A founding member of the Cobb Wind Symphony (CWS), Christi has performed on both tenor and baritone saxophone with the ensemble for over 25 years. With CWS, she has appeared multiple times at the prestigious Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference, and was part of the ensemble when it received the Sudler Silver Scroll Award—honoring it as one of the top community bands in the nation.

She also plays alto saxophone with the Cobb New Horizons Symphonic Band, where she currently serves as president, following her prior role as secretary. Since 2022, she has brought her alto sax talents to the Cobb New Horizons Jazz Ensemble as well.

Whether performing, leading, or arranging, Christi brings heart, precision, and professionalism to every note. Offstage, she enjoys producing and editing concert and marching band videos, as well as transcribing music for saxophone quartet—a true blend of technical expertise and creative artistry.

She’s also a lifelong Weird Al Yankovic fan, and when she’s not playing music, you might find her racking up high scores in Centipede, getting hopelessly lost in Elder Scrolls, or sight-reading music that absolutely no one asked her to play—just because she can.
