Bill Pulis
Lead Trumpet

We will let you know more about Bill as soon as his parole officer gives clearance. We have it on good authority that Bill is assistant principal trumpet with a local wind band. (Trumpet players have a lot of that) He has also been seen working the church circuit, occasionally with a trumpet.

Arden Moser
2nd Trumpet and Flugelhorn

Besides being a great musician Arden Moser's spent most of his life playing in one band or another. He left his native Ohio at the tender age of 16 to wind up playing with several of the "service bands" in the World War II days. There he met and had the opportunity to perform with his idol Bobby Hackett. As the Big Band Era changed and evolved, Arden developed his talents while earning more challenging roles. In Chicago, he was in the trumpet section of the Frank Marti latin band. A Vegas style show band performing at the Villa Venice Supper Club (they say it was owned by the mob) After a brief stint in the Army's 101st Airborne, where he served in Korea, Arden went on to play with Tex Beneke and other bands that were still working at that time. Like most of us he had to pursue other interests, he worked in the TV and Advertising field where he managed several stations and produced documentaries for CBS, Viacom and ESPN. Now that he's retired, he tries to play as much as he can.

3rd Trumpet

We keep asking him for a bio. But keeps muttering something about precious bodily fluids...

Kevin Doyle
4th Trumpet

A lawyer, Keven is the legal representative for the trumpet section. If ever a brass section needed a lawyer it might be this one. As a native of Alexandria, Virginia. He played principal trumpet and cornet for the Bishop Ireton High School Wind Ensemble in Alexandria and jazz under the late, great Jack Dahlinger of Alexandria's T.C. Williams High School. In his college years, he blew for the UVA Wind Ensemble and Pep Band, which is a satirical scramble band that has offended citizens of Maryland, Tennessee and West Virginia (twice) evoking official censure from several thin-skinned governors of those respective states. In 2003, the UVA Pep Band was finally banned from playing at all University events in favor of a State U marching band. Kevin's trumpet collected dust while he attended the Loyola School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. but he picked up the horn again in 1999 and is one of the original lawyer members of the Atlanta Swing Orchestra. Kevin practices law with the firm of Lokey, Mobley and Doyle, LLP in Atlanta, specializing in civil litigation and lives in Roswell, Georgia.
