Tom Godfrey  When he suffered a lip injury that ended his career as a classical trombonist, Tom Godfrey thought his life as a musician was finished, but he fell in love with music all over again when he was given a guitar for Christmas in 2003. Even as he was struggling through his first chords with burning fingertips, Tom was planning a new career. Reborn as a jazz guitarist, Tom now writes and performs his own solo arrangements of jazz classics, performs with his jazz flute/guitar duo Tea for Two, is the guitarist with the Atlanta Swing Orchestra, and is a founding member of InTown Band, whose original soul fusion borrows from jazz, rock, blues, reggae, and soul.
